For the 43rd time, the Swiss hot air balloon festival takes place at Château-d’Oex.
More than 70 balloons from many countries will benefit from the unique microclimate and climb into the sky.
As one of Switzerland's most anticipated winter events, the festival is renowned around the world for the beauty of the surroundings and the complexity of the flying conditions.
As a visiting card for Château-d’Œx, the festival contributes greatly to the region’s reputation worldwide. Over the nine days of the festival, the general public can enjoy a varied program of demonstration flights and competitions.
